This super simple Candy Corn Fruit Parfait made with mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, and coconut whipped cream is a healthy and festive candy free Halloween dessert!
When Halloween approaches I love to get creative in the kitchen and create cute and festive treats I know the kids will love.
These candy corn fruit parfaits are just that! They’re made with no sugar added mandarin oranges, and pineapple, and then topped with a super simple coconut whipped cream topping making them a vegan dairy free plant-based dessert!
While store bought candy corn is not vegan, these parfaits can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone, while still paying homage to the iconic Halloween candy treat!

Ingredients You Need
- No Added Sugar Mandarin Oranges
- No Added Sugar Pineapple Chunks
- Full Fat Coconut Milk
- Powdered Sugar
- Vanilla extract

- Clear cups or stemless wine glasses to fill with fruit
- Hand Mixer to whip the coconut cream
- Cold mixing bowl to whip the cream
How to Make a Candy Corn Fruit Parfait
Step 1: Place can of coconut milk in refrigerator overnight. When ready to whip cream, place mixing bowl in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. Remove can from refrigerator. Remove hardened cream that has risen to the top of the can, careful not to add any of the liquid at the bottom.
Step 2: Whip cream for about 30 seconds. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, whip an additional minute, until cream thickens and peaks form. Store whipped cream in the refrigerator until you’re ready to prepare the parfaits.
Step 3: Rinse and drain mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks. Fill cups with mandarin oranges, pineapple, and top with whipped cream. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Note: This recipe makes 4 small parfaits or 2 large parfaits.
Top Tips for Making the Best Candy Corn Fruit Parfait
- Buy no sugar added mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks to reduce the overall sugar.
- Use more or less powdered sugar depending on how sweet you like your whipped cream.
- If whipped cream hasn’t hardened overnight, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of tapioca starch as a stabilizer.
How to Store and Keep
Store parfaits in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve them. Parfaits will keep for up to 2 days.

Candy Corn Fruit Parfait
Ingredients
- 30 oz no sugar added mandarin oranges 2 15 oz cans
- 20 oz no sugar added pineapple chunks
Coconut Whipped Cream
- 14 oz full fat coconut milk or coconut cream
