It’s time for firecrackers, BBQs, and celebrating America! These Vegan Fourth of July Recipes will have your friends and family running to the picnic table in anticipation.
Getting into the Fourth of July spirit is such fun! There’s a well known saying that we eat with our eyes first.
So when we’re getting in the patriotic spirit it’s fun to think of creative ways to use the colors red, white, and blue in the recipes we serve to family and friends amidst the picnics, sparklers, firecrackers, and pool side games.
I also like to bring cool refreshing salads that are easily packable, cool and creamy desserts, as well as main dishes that can be thrown on the grill.
Depending on your family tradition you may spend a day on the water whether that’s by the beach, lake, or pool. Or maybe you have a picnic or BBQ in your backyard and create your own fireworks display.
As of late our family has spent our Fourth of July at our community pool. They put on water games for the whole family, and do face painting and temporary tattoos for the kids. It’s one of our highlights of the summer.
Each year we bring picnic items that we share with the other families, and my husband fires up the grill under the canopy of the trees in the park.
Fireflies dot the sky as dusk falls, and the families pack up their gear to head home.
We set up lawn chairs in our driveway and watchfully allow the kids to light a few sparklers. Then we sit back and the neighbors fireworks display.
It’s a wonderful time to spend with family and friends in the midst of the summer heat.
I hope you and your family enjoy my collection of Vegan Fourth of July recipes. They are healthy, festive, and pleasing for all types of eaters.
