Air Fryer Frozen Asparagus

This easy Air Fryer Frozen Asparagus is simply seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper, and comes out perfectly cooked and crispy in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces frozen asparagus spears
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 F for 5 minutes.
  • While the air fryer is heating, remove the frozen asparagus spears from the package. Add to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle the salt, and black pepper. Add the minced garlic. Make sure that all of the spears are evenly coated and seasoned.
  • Add to your air fryer basket in a single layer. If you have a small air fryer you may need to cook in two batches.
  • Cook for 10 minutes. Toss at 5 minutes. Depending on your air fryer it may need a few more minutes.

Tips for Making Air Fryer Frozen Asparagus
  • Use organic frozen asparagus if possible.
  • Do not thaw the asparagus prior to adding it to the air fryer.
  • Be sure to toss the asparagus halfway through the cooking process to ensure even cooking on all sides.
  • Add your own favorite herbs or seasoning. Dill, oregano, and garlic powder are a few of my favorites.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
