Chocolate Snowflakes (Vegan and Gluten-Free)

These beautiful chocolate snowflakes are an easy and fun winter treat. Dark chocolate is melted, and combined with brown rice cereal for crunch to create these bite sized holiday sweets! Make them as a holiday gift, or just enjoy at home with your family!

  • 2 cups vegan chocolate chips
  • 2 tbps coconut oil
  • 1 cup brown rice cereal


  • Melt the chocolate chips in a glass bowl using the double boiler method, or microwaving in 30 seconds intervals, stirring in between until chocolate is melted. Mix in coconut oil until smooth.

  • Stir in rice cereal until coated
  • Scoop into the molds and shake the molds to make sure the chocolate is evenly distributed. Place in the freezer overnight.
  • Pop out of molds and enjoy.


  • If melting the chocolate in the microwave be careful not to burn it! If you microwave for too long, it will burn the chocolate and be no good! If you microwave in 30 second intervals, and stir in between until chocolate is just melted, you should have a good consistency.
  • Use a high quality melting chocolate for best taste and flavor!
  • Make sure you allow the snowflakes to set in the freezer overnight! This will ensure that they easily pop out and aren't a gooey mess!
