Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 liter lemon lime soda or ginger ale
  • ½ cup grenadine syrup
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the orange juice and pineapple juice in a large punch bowl.
  • Slowly pour in the lemon-lime soda.
  • Gently pour the grenadine syrup into the punch.
  • Carefully open a can of coconut milk (don't shake it). Scoop out a few spoonfuls of the thick cream from the top and place them on a plate. Put the plate in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up the coconut cream. Once the coconut cream is slightly firm, fluff it up with a fork. This will create a cloud-like texture. Gently place the fluffed coconut cream on top of the punch to create a foggy appearance.
  • Add plastic spiders or worms to the side of the punch bowl for a creepy touch. You can also float orange or lime slices on the surface for a colorful and eerie garnish.
  • Add ice to the punch to keep it cool and refreshing.

Tips for Making Hocus Pocus Punch
  • Make your punch visually appealing and eerie by experimenting with natural food coloring.
  • Add "floating" elements to your punch to give it a creepy touch. Eyeball-shaped ice cubes, vegan gummy worms, or even plastic insects frozen in ice can be great options. You can also use lychee fruits stuffed with blueberries as spooky "eyeballs."
  • Create a visually stunning effect, layer the different colored liquids in your punch bowl.
  • For an eerie fog effect, use dry ice. Use tongs to drop dry ice cubes in the bottom of your punch bowl. Never touch dry ice with your bare hands!
  • Make the punch just before you are ready to serve.
  • Store leftovers in a pitcher in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
