Tips for Making Lemon Smoothies
- If you want your smoothie to have a deeper lemon color add a ½ teaspoon of ground turmeric. It will not only give your smoothie a bright and beautiful hue but will also add health benefits such as improved heart health.
- If you want to give this smoothie a boost of protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder, or 2 tablespoons of hemp seeds, chia seeds, or flax seeds.
- This lemon smoothie can be made the night before and stored in the refrigerator covered overnight. I prefer to store my smoothie in a mason jar for ease of use. Store for no more than 2 days.
