  • 4 cups butternut squash cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • Combine cubed butternut squash, olive oil, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Add to the air fryer in a single layer. Don't overcrowd.
  • Set the temperature to 400 F. Set the time to 10 minutes. Toss halfway through.

  1. Use pre-cut butternut squash, or frozen butternut squash to save time chopping.
  2. If using frozen squash, defrost before preparing. Pat dry, and then combine with other ingredients.
  3. Omit oil if whole food plant-based.
  4. Use cinnamon if you don't have pumpkin pie spice.
  5. Start the time with 10 minutes, tossing halfway through. If you need more time based on the size of your air fryer and squash, add 5-10 more minutes of cooking time.
