Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 cup cilantro roughly chopped
  • ½ cup red onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes quartered
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Optional

  • ½ jalapeño pepper finely diced
  • 1 lime juiced

Instructions

  • Roughly chop one cup of cilantro, ½ cup of red onion, and ½ cup of cherry tomatoes or Roma tomatoes. Scoop and cut two avocados into small chunks.
  • In a medium mixing bowl mash the avocados and salt with a potato masher or fork until you get a nice chuncky texture. Mash more for a creamy texture and less for chunky texture.
  • Add tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro. Stir to combine.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with chopped tomato and cilantro.

Notes

Tips for Making 4 Ingredient Guacamole
  • Squeeze some lime or lemon juice on top of your guacamole to keep it from turning brown.
  • Only use ripe avocados.
  • It's best to make and eat guacamole fresh. It goes brown very quickly. Make it just before you're ready to serve.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day in an airtight container.
