Arugula Smoothie with Banana

This ultra-creamy and nutrient-rich arugula smoothie is sweetened with banana and pineapple, with added omega-3 clary sage seed oil for the ultimate way to start the day!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 medium banana ripe and starting to brown
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • ½ avocado rippened
  • 1 teaspoon Naturesage Clary Sage Seed Oil

Instructions

  • Add the arugula, almond milk, banana, frozen pineapple, half an avocado, and the Omega 3 Clary Sage Seed Oil to a high-speed blender.
  • Blend until the arugula is completely combined, and no flecks of green are left. This will take about 1 minute blending on low and slowly increasing the speed to high.
  • Pour into a cup, and garnish with a few arugula leaves. Enjoy!

Tips for Making an Arugula Smoothie
  • Add more protein by adding a scoop of your favorite vegan protein powder.
  • Add the juice of one lemon to help cut the peppery taste of arugula.
  • If you feel like your smoothie needs to be sweeter, consider adding a teaspoon of maple syrup.
