- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 medium banana frozen and chopped into chunks
- 1 cup peaches frozen
- ¼ cup plain dairy-free yogurt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional
Garnish
- 2 sprigs fresh mint leaves optional
- 2 peach slices optional
- 2 teaspoon chia seeds optional
Add the almond milk, and yogurt to your blender. Then add the frozen banana, peaches, and maple syrup.
Secure the lid. Blend until all ingredients are combined.
Pour into two glasses. Top with a few chia seeds, mint and fresh peach slice for garnish. Enjoy!
- Use frozen fruit, or at least the frozen banana. By using frozen fruit you won't need to add any ice which can water down your smoothie and make it less creamy.
- Add your liquid ingredients to your blender first. Then your soft fruit, followed by your frozen fruit or ice. This helps to more easily incorporate other ingredients without the need to stop, stir, and blend again.
- If you have a variable speed blender start low, and slowly move the dial up to high. Blend for about 10-20 seconds on high speed.
