Chickpeas Vegetable Stock Onion Tomatoes Ginger Paste Minced Garlic Spices

Step 1

Add olive oil cardamom, and bay leaves to a large pan. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Add ginger paste and garlic. 

Step 2

Add sliced red onions, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add the tomatoes, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes soften.

Step 4

Add the rest of the spices. Stir to combine, and allow to simmer for a minute.

Step 5

Add the chickpeas and stock. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
