All-Purpose Flour Olive Oil Sugar Almond Milk Apple Cider Vinegar Orange Juice Orange Zest Vanilla Extract Baking Powder & Soda

Step 1

In a small bowl whisk together the almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Set aside for 10 minutes.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 3

In a medium bowl whisk together the sugar, curdled almond milk, olive oil, orange juice, orange zest, vanilla extract, and almond extract.

Step 4

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Fold together until combined.

Step 5

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 28-30 minutes.

Step 6

While the cake is baking make the orange syrup.

Step 7

After the cake has cooled for 10 minutes, use a skewer to poke holes around the cake. Pour the orange syrup on top of the cake and into the holes.

Step 8

Dust with powdered sugar, and garnish with orange slices.
